Livin' The Life

Kauan odotettu Reckless Loven keikka oli vapun aattona Kuopion Henry's Pubissa. Näin bändin viimeksi Englannissa. Matkalla keikkapaikalle radiosta tuli Steel Dragonin Livin' The Life ja heti perään Steel Pantheria. Loistava aloitus illalle ;)

Henkkaan saavuttuani tuttuja alkoi valua sisään. Jännitys oli käsin kosketeltavissa. Keikalla tuli hypittyä ja heilutettua tukkaa niin, että niskat on vieläkin jumissa. :P

30/04/13 - Reckless Love at Henry's Pub, Kuopio, Finland

Long waiting has come to an end. I finally saw my favourite band Reckless Love after 6 months. Last time I saw them in England. During my ride to the venue the radio was on my side and played Steel Dragon and Steel Panther. Definitely the kickoff for the evening :)

The gig was awesome, as always. All the friends were there. The venue was packed full of people. The energy and excitement was bubbling in the air. Reckless Love played two new songs, Bad Lovin' and first time live the brand new single, Night On Fire. See the complete setlist above.

"The beat of my heart, can you feel it?"

Siinä se nyt on, "Night On Fire", Reckless Loven tuoretta materiaalia tulevalta albumilta. Ilman videota kappale on hyvä, mutta video on jotenkin... ei niin hyvä :D Kuvausympäristöstä tuli mieleen Back To Paradise tai Coconuts viidakkomaisuuden vuoksi. Enkä ymmärrä niitä UV-meikkejä. Sinkun kansi ja bändin jätkien nahkatakit on tehty sugar skull-tyylillä, joten ehkä tässä on jotain teeman poikasta. Hienot on kyllä :)

Now it's been released, Reckless Love's new single from the upcoming album. The song is good without the video which isn't as good. Reminded me of Back To Paradise or Coconuts because of the jungle. And I don't understand those UV-make ups. I think it's some kinda theme, the single cover and the jackets above are sugar skull-style. I like them :)

Tone mapping?

Ihastuin hiljattain sellaiseen kuvankäsittelymuotoon kuin tone mapping tai HDR. Yksinkertaisimmillaan sillä voidaan korostaa kuvan pieniä yksityiskohtia, muuttaa valoisuutta ja tummia kohtia sekä säätää terävyyttä ja kontrastia. Niin minä ainakin olen sen ymmärtänyt. Ammattilaiset, korjatkaa jos olen väärässä.

Adobe Photoshop CS6:ssa kyseisen toiminnon voi tehdä automaattisesti: Image > Adjustments > HDR Toning... > Säädä haluamasi näköiseksi

En tosin ole varma, voiko automaattista toimintoa sanoa "oikeaksi" tone mappingiksi.

Translation:

I've recently found a "new" format in graphics called tone mapping or HDR. Simplicity of the format is to modify the details of the picture and change brightness as well as adjust sharpness, dark spots and contrast. At least I understood it that way, even though I'm not professional. If there are professional photographers who are reading this, correct me If I'm wrong, please :)
